Christmas this year was so amazing! We started off by celebrating with the Bagleys here in Utah before we headed up to Portland to see my family. The Friday before Christmas we had a DELICIOUS feast of yummy foods and exchanged gifts. It was the only time all of us kids could get together. Christie went into labor that NIGHT and had her baby the next day! It was so cool to see her right before she had her baby. The next day we took off at 7:30am and headed to Portland!
Here's a cute picture of me and bubs...just because :)
Can you tell she's a junior high teacher?
Autumn got 2 new fun big toys, plus a really cute outfit. We exchanged sibling gifts and also gave a gift card for the movies to the parents. They sure do love us!
The drive took about 12 hours with stops. Autumn ate at gas and bathroom stops and really didn't slow us down that much! She slept most of the way and did so well in the car. Luckily we did not run into any bad weather. My mom, Smokey, Grandpa Ed and Jacquie did not make it, unfortunately! They had really bad weather and did not want to risk it. It really was a bummer for us all. SO SAD. We sure did miss them and I hope they knew it!
When we arrived in the evening, Travis and Katie had a delicious meal prepared for us! Thanks guys! We talked and hung out until about 10pm and then we went to pick up Kris (my step mom) from the airport. Here she is holding William. (CUTEST BOY EVER!) It was so wonderful spending time with her. I sure did miss her this past year!
William and Autumn had a great time hanging out. William is not crawling yet, but Autumn is so it made it interesting keeping her off of him! He does a cute army crawl and can get to wherever he needs to be anyway.
Travis loves his TUMNS! That is what he calls her. They sure are cute together!
The next morning we went to church for a Sunday service. Kris came and we all were pretty much in tears at the messages given. It was a wonderful Christmas service!
Later that evening Dustin's family arrived and we had a nice meal together.
Here is Lily (9 years old) with her cousin William. Such cuties!
Love this picture of all the girls with Autumn!
I know these are super candid, but I like getting shots of the family in their element, just hanging out.
Christmas Eve was a wonderful day. We spent a lot of time getting ready for Christmas in the kitchen making pies and who knows what else Katie had up her sleeve! I made sure to make cookies for Santa Clause and the girls helped too. They love helping in the kitchen. It's so cute with Kate and Lainey right by my side. I hope my girl Autumn will want to bake with me someday!
We played a lot of Monopoly Deal Millionaire. Have you played it? We love it!
William was taking a bath, and Autumn just had to join! I was making a REALLY goofy face in order for both of them to be looking at me.
Here are my lovely nieces at the mall! Lily and Kate. Just love them to death!
Little Oliver!! Getting so big. Such a cutie.
Trav was stuck on baby duty. I suppose he doesn't mind :)
Autumn loved playing with William's toys! Spencer and I are always trading off holding the rascal. She is so calm with dad.
During the afternoon we headed over to the mall and then later that night we went to a burger joint called Calamity Janes and ate some delicious food!
Dus-ter-did-er-l-io! (Inside joke)
Happy to be eating my burger :)
Work it Katsie!
Dustin and his kids owned that banana split!
Me and my girl Autumn. She slept most of the time during dinner. I forgot to mention that she was an AMAZING baby on the drive up to Portland! So well behaved. She loves car rides. She just sleeps most of the time and when she is awake she is smiling at her mama!
More to come!! Up next, Christmas EVE and Christmas DAY!
