Brown visit part 2!

On Thursday evening Spencer got off work at 8 and we met him at the office. We drove two cars to fit everyone and headed up to the cabin! They have both been there, but never together at the same time during the summer. It was a blast! Perfect weather, the kids were entertained, and there was no one else up there. We had the mountain pretty much all to ourselves! We got up there pretty late and quickly unpacked everything and got the kids ready for bed. The next morning we made waffles with our awesome waffle maker and went for a walk. The rest of the day was spent playing in the rocks, dirt biking, 3 wheeling, and playing on the swings/playground. We left around 5 and made it back to Orem so Travis and Katie could get a good nights rest (and shower) before their plane took off the next day.

William takes the most adorable photos!

The in-laws

These two just loved playing alongside one another. It was such a cute site!

I'm guessing uncle Spencer did this...

Nap time!

Katie was a stud on the 3 wheeler

The ol' man cutting wood!

Love seeing Travis as a dad!

We took this photo right before we left

Travis did an awesome job on the dirt bike. I took him and Katie on a ride (the first time I've ever led) and we didn't get lost! Pretty proud of that. The next ride Spencer crashed his dirt bike, something he rarely ever does. The poor bike is out of commission now. Apparently he drove up a hill to quickly and didn't quite land the jump on the other end. Glad he was ok!

I LOVE taking my bubbies on rides! She is so good and never gets scared or cries. A natural.

We played a mean card game of GOLF.

I just love this photo! They are adorable together.

The next morning we spent 3 hours at the Provo Recreation Center. It is so awesome! We arrived at 10am. The outdoor pool and splash pad did not open until 12 so we played inside for 2 hours jumping off the cliff, rock climbing, basketball, and going around the lazy river.  We then made our way outside for the last hour or so. The water slides were so much fun. Katie and I eventually became brave enough to take William and Autumn down the slides. They loved it! Travis and Spencer even went down together at the same time. Which actually ended up looking a little too awkward and got some good laughs from us and the people behind us in line. Haha!

Later in the afternoon they packed up and were ready to have me take them to the airport. I was so sad to see them go. They wanted to stay longer. We did too!

So fun that these two are only 1 month apart!

Travis and the tummy tumn tumns...

And one more reminder of all the fun we had! Thanks for coming guys! It was such a blast. Hope to do it again next summer, this time we can go to you!

Travis, Katie, William visit the ol' Beehive State!

My 1st older brother Travis came for a 5 day visit during the month of August. It was so much fun! We have a lot in common and are at similar points in our lives. Minus us not having a house and one of us still in school, but that will all come in time :) Autumn and William are 1 month apart. Travis and Katie got married 3 months before us, too! It is going to be so fun to watch these two kiddos grow up and experience the same "firsts" around the same time. We had a blast and wished they could have stayed longer. I will start with the "end" first because that's how these pictures loaded on the computer.

The first two days William and Autumn were sick. Will got strep throat and was running a fever of over 100 degrees. Kind of scary! He went to the insta care and got antibiotics which cleared it up very quickly! The next day, Autumn was sick with a stomach bug and threw up a couple of times. We tried to make the best out of the situation by playing fun games, eating delicious food and just hanging out at home. Autumn slept in our walk in closet in the pak and play and William had his own baby suite with a fan and a comfortable crib. Haha. He has to sleep alone or he will wake up from any noise. Travis and Katie slept on the blow up bed in the living room. It worked out pretty great! We were planning on having Dustin's family there too, with maybe my mom coming. I'm glad they came out later because it would have been WAY too crowded. We just had Dustin's family hang out with us for a week and you can't really have more people than that in our small condo. I'm just so grateful they are willing to come out and visit! I love my family so much and miss them. It means a lot to me that they are willing to fly out to see us.

One of the days we went to the Riverwoods and played at the splash pad. Autumn loved it, but was also pretty interested in running away and trying to go into all of the stores :) William did not like it at first, but once his mom went in the water with him he was smiling from ear to ear. Such a cutie!

This is the day we went up to Sundance. Second day they were here. Autumn got sick on the drive up. She was on Spencer's shoulders and started to throw up. He quickly leaned her forward and she only just barely got a part of his hat. Poor guy! And poor sick Autumn! We took her home, and Travis and Katie attempted to hike to Stewart Falls. It didn't work out for them either because Will was tired and needed a nap. They came home shortly after. Fail! On both families. Luckily the next day we had some real fun.

On our way to the Riverwoods. Katie didn't have much room!

We had to stop and get this picture taken of Travis in front of ancestry.com's building. This is where Dustin works. Pretty cool!

Later that night we had Cafe Rio! MMMM soooo good.

Up at Sundance. Man they are a photogenic family!

As you can see, Autumn is not too thrilled to be there.

Katie wanted me to french braid her hair like a girl on Pinterest did. Not bad, eh?

Here are a couple of pictures from our game night. We played 21 and Farkle!

The very first hour they were here. So excited to get the kids together!

William at the insta care. Such a good sport. So sorry he was so sick. I had strep throat a few months back and I wanted to die!

Delicious Philly cheese steak sandwiches!

They ignored each other for a while, but then started playing together towards the end. And often shared sippy cups!

The result of playing games at 12:00am!

More to come of their trip!
