Back in August we invited Dustin and his family up to the cabin for the weekend.
We love taking people up there and more often than not people have a good time (especially with the bikes and 3 wheeler).
It's just nice to take time away from our normal routines and get away for a weekend. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in the summer time. Wildflowers, Aspens, wildlife, and just greenery everywhere make it so beautiful. It was really fun having Dustin and Laura plus their 4 children stay the night. They had a blast riding the 3 wheeler.
I hope to have fun toys like this of our own someday to share with our kids! We would want a 4 wheeler and 2 dirt bikes. Who knows how long we'll be able to enjoy the cabin, for now I am not going to take it for granted!
Here is a picture of a map where we go to the cabin (to give you an idea where it is located in Utah). If you go up Ogden Canyon and head past Hunstsville you'll pass the Monte Cristo Campground. The cabin is very close to that.
Dustin and his family moved back to California in September. We really had so much fun with them while they lived in Lehi. Indian Food Sundays, going to the gym every morning with Laura, going on hikes and picnics with the kids, and Spicy Thai with Dustin during the week. I grew a lot closer to all of them and felt so sad when they left.
We get to visit them in their old, NEW house in Sonora for Thanksgiving.
I can't wait to try out their hot tub!!
