Love those HaRkEr'S!!!

My most favorite Bishop and church leader while at BYU was and is still Bishop Phil Harker and his lovely wife Sister Harker. He is kind of like a father figure in my life. I look up to him so much and the Harker's are such dear friends to us. Even Spencer loves them and he's only known them a short while. I served with Bishop for a year as Relief Society President and he was my bishop for over 3 years. We grew very close and he even was able to attend my sealing! So special!

He and his wife live only 5 minutes away from our house so Spencer and I have been up there twice already this semester to visit. Most recently he invited some of his favorite people to come up and have dinner at his house. We love going there because the food is always great, the company is so pleasant, and they have really fun games like ski ball downstairs. Not to mention Sister Harker is an excellent cook!

We hope to visit you again Bishop! And this time we want some Mr. Phil's cookies!
